The English weren't the only ones who had rationing

I still have my parent's WWII ration stamp book. It had stamps for coffee, sugar and ones called 'spares'

Americans did not have the beef and butter and sugar, etc. they were used too but,

they sure had fresh fruit and veges available.

I like these POW interviews on the Hitler Channel where they were captured in

North Africa and held prisoner in America. "The fresh fruit". "The food". "Eggs".

America's ability to produce food is a national security issue that is too often ignored in land policy.

I wonder why sugar was rationed until 1947? Cuba was still ours. 🙄
