Zombieland (the movie)
Jesse Eisenberg as a nerd surviving the zombie apocalypse and Woody Harrelson as a gun crazed psychopath in search of Twinkies.
It's a comedy and it's got zombies. What more do you want?

I think from the waist up towards the end.
He has this thing for twinkies... soft cake things with over-preserved white stuff inside.
As opposed to those other harder tubular things with white stuff inside.

Re: Zombieland (the movie)
I was really reluctant to go to a "zombie movie" party a couple months ago; I don't really like gross-out stuff much... but I like edgy humor.
First movie was Shaun of the Dead; I LOVED it. Freaking hilarious with a really neat resolution for the end of the zombie apocalypse.
Second movie was Zombieland. I couldn't decide which of these two I liked best.
Zombieland has a really neat cameo by one of my all-time faves, Bill Murray, playing himself (I think this is the one). It was a great bit, but yeah, Woody steals the show in his most violence-adept character since Natural Born Killers. At least he gets to be funny this time!

Shaun of the Dead is just a hoot. Shaun is so amazingly inept and clueless. He makes the movie.

Re: Zombieland (the movie)
The first time i saw "Zombieland" was just days after seeing "Social Network" which for me made Zombieland all the funnier. Subsequent viewings has not diminished the humor - i especially like the airplane on the highway.

Re: Zombieland (the movie)
I liked Zombeiland, but didn't find it the laugh out loud romp that most people did. I actually found it a bit stale. There are better zombie comedies out there for sure.
Army of Darkness
Return of the Living Dead
Zombie Strippers
Planet Terror
Fido
Shawn of the Dead (of course)
I'd seen Fido with Bruce Campbell shortly before I saw Zombieland, and it was head and shoulders above in pure laugh out loud moments.
Don't get me wrong. I liked Zombieland. It just wasn't as good as other offerings I've seen in the genera of the ZomCom.

since Bruce Campbell isn't in Fido, this implies that u watched Fido with Bruce. i hear that he's gotten really fat. is this true?

I'll be durned. That was Billy Connolly. It sure looked like Bruce. Until I looked at the cast list on IMDB, I would have sworn it was Bruce Campbell.
Well I learned something there. I DID watch another awesome horror with Bruce Campbell in it. "My Name is Bruce". That wasn't a zombie movie though, it was just a kick ass monster flick.
As of 2007, yeah... he's gotten fat, but then so have I.
