Re: GASP! tattoos from heck or "how not to"
I just checked this out on the Snopes web site. Unfortunately this story is bogus. The photo has been used to illustrate a number of earlier stories and there is not now or ever has been a tattoo artist by that name anywhere in Ohio (which requires a state license).

Re: GASP! tattoos from heck or "how not to"
he following "news story" has been making the Internet rounds for the past few days and even turned up in the U.K. tabloid The Sun (http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/ne ... ating.html) on Tuesday:
Tattoo artist Ryan Fitzgerald from Dayton, OH was hit with a $100,000 lawsuit last week by his ex-girlfriend Rossie Brovent. She claims that her boyfriend was supposed to tattoo a scene from Narnia on her back but instead tattooed an image of a pile of excrement with flies buzzing around it. Not a word of which is true, come to find out. The image above may well be authentic, say investigators at The Smoking Gun (http://www.thesmokinggun.com/buster/poo ... ap-8764319), but there's no record of any such lawsuit, nor of the existence of a "Rossie Brovent," nor of a licensed tattoo artist in or around Dayton, Ohio named Ryan Fitzgerald.
A fun story even if its not true, something worthy of the Onion.
