Re: pre surgery questions
Hi I have had my wisdom teath out recently and undergone laser eye surgery and both said you should tell us if you are on Estrofem or Siterone (both which I take)
Maybe I should have told them but decided not to. Fortunatly I did not have any problems with either procedure and had a local anesthetic for my teath. As my teath had very long roots into the gum they did bleed ALOT so the medication could posibly be a problem for some. If you feel you can tell them then I would advise you to.
I have only just been able to start to talk to my doctor about it and still cant tell my BF yet so I know how hard it is.

Re: pre surgery questions
It is best to discontinue your meds a week before surgery. The only problem may be that if you do not discontinue the meds you will bleed more and have a problem with your blood not clotting properly. Other than that you should not have a meds problem.
