I wonder anyone's thoughts or knowledge of using testosterone gel over a period of time as a means to achieve castration?

I know body builders using testosterone supplements often cause their own testicles to atrophy and shrink in size during the time they use artificial testosterone.

Any info??

Steroids aren't testosterone they are mostly estrogen estrogen helps as a cutter in the male body hence the need for estrogen blockers on test250 and other bulkers and depending on your strength of wynstral you might need some there but it doesn't effectivly castrate you it just reduces or destroys your ability to create sperm sex drive stays the same and your body might grow hips and tits until it restabilizes off of the steriods

As I understand the steroids for bodybuilding situation,

an excess of anabolic steroids will let you build muscle mass if you don't want to spend years getting that muscle mass. However, taking steroids as a teen halts growth as the male body thinks it has become "adult" and bones stop growing. A person might gain height into his 20th or 21st year left to grow on his own but steroids stop that. Steroids broaden the shoulders, increase size and definition but also increase aggression.

Some rare individuals grow into their mid twenties. All of that time, their bodies know that they aren't adults because as adults, we do not grow. Now this is a medical distinction and has consequences when a person stops the process with steroids.

Also, the testes shut down their steroid production because the body's endocrine system measures the levels of steroids in the blood and stops producing them. That's why bodybuilders have to jump start their testicles after a course of steroids. A bodybuilder on too much steroids tends to not reach a satisfying orgasm. That's not the way you want to affect your testicles and penis even if you wish to be rid of them.

A little confused but there are competing effects that happen when you alter the body with external chemicals. I can't tell you all of the reasons for these effects.

Using steroids could cause atrophy enough that you are sterile, and your body will not have the ability to produce enough testosterone, but it is NOT castration. The long term effects of testicle atrophy might lead to the need for removal of the testicles, but until that point the effects would not be like castration. The use of steroids actually replaces testosterone, and the body stops producing it. While using a stroid regimin, youwould still have all the same urges, and abilities as a "normal" male. The risk of sustaining long term liver and kidney damage is high , so even the most blatant abuse of steroids is for short very controlled periods.

To truly attain the effects of castration requires either an antiandrogen regimin, or removal of the testicles.

I guess it depends on how you define castration.

Testosterone shrank mine down to 0.85" x 0.5 x 0.75" (about 3 mL volume) which is prepubertal size. They produce no sperm or testosterone and they are always retracted. They never recovered and never will so I see no difference in what testosterone did and killing them with alcohol except they are mushy. I don't have scar tissue for nuts so mine will probably continue to shrink until they are completely gone (without surgery). I always hated having nuts flopping around anyway.

If I want castration effects I just have to reduce the testosterone but I don't want to deal with mood swings, depression, weight gain, osteoporosis, muscle loss, fatigue, impotence or decreased libido so I will keep my T levels normal. Some may want those effects and some may not have a choice but for me life is fun as is.
