Inmate may have been castrated before murder

I cant speak for the prison system in the usa for i dont know anything about it,apart from what i see on the tv.But the prison system here in the uk,is nothing about punishment,or rehabilitation,far to mutch overcrowding and nothing for the prisoners to do.

We keep people in cramped conditions and well overcrowed prison halls,is it any wonder when they end up by having a riot,the biggest amout of inmates have nothing atall to do and all day to do it.

Do we reay expect to keep humans in these sort of conditions and expect to put them back in to socaity,and think they will fit in no bother,well time for those in power sit up and take note,would we expect to ut animals in sutch conditions,and everything to go well no but we expect this toappen with humans.

I am not saying that prisoners should be living in the lap of luxuiry,but the punishement part of being in prison,is the loss of freedom,not being with ones family,but it realy dose seem to be that prisonis being used more and more as a place to put people who have done wrong and we want to keep on urting you,no matter what you did,or what things are wrong with you.

Jeffrey Dahmer was murdered in prison. It was a shame, because we set up his death - you did, I did, society did. It was nearly inevitable, and for a monster-predator such as him, it is easy to look the other way. It is also important that we do not do so.

If we wanted Dahmer dead, for whatever reason, we should've killed him. There's a legal way to do this - I'm not talking morals, or ethics, but law: we could have exterminated him with a death sentence.

But sending him to be murdered in prison, was a coward's way out.

I agree totaly with what you say,we should never been sending anyone to prison to be killed by other inmates. And we should not be turning a blind eye when it happens,no matter the person and no matter the crime.

But when we have hardened killers and gangsters in prisons this will happen,i do not agree with any of it.

Prison as i said should be for those who truly need to be there,and in single cell accomodation,thus reducing the risk in only a small part, to inmate killings,if the powers that be were to ensure that it is only those who need to be in prison that are there,and those who need help and treatment get it,so the questions is punishment or treatment,you cant have yourcake and eat it as they say.
