Seen on a stickers in marsrutka.

Post by fhunter »

I have seen many different stickers there before, like "30 minutes of fear and you are home", "do not slam the door, the driver is easily frightened" or "driver is not an octopus and can not give change to all at once" and so on.

But the last one, I have seen, I liked the most: in front of the two front seats was a sticker with the text:

"do not distract the driver, pray quietly".

PS. For those who do not know - marshrutka is a share taxi.

It would appear that there is no great difference between the taxi drivers in Russia and here.

Yes it brought back memories of a taxi ride I had in Chicago years ago, still makes me shudder.

I swear that a tax I took in New York City years ago passed inbetween two cars with an inch to spare of either side. It's one of the few times I remember nearly pissing my pants and screaming like a little girl.
