Yes I have known some very sharp ones and taken private lessons.

The best one could tell if the plane from Russia was ten minutes late.

I would wish to turn it off, to shut off the back ground noise if you will.

But, apparently I do not have the discipline required.

Example, some times I get the "heebie jeebies" when I sense a really bad person about. Few times with members passing through here, and gone.

I have shared it with a mod who has sensed the same.

What were those drugs called, Bester handed out, to turn it off?

But, they were like too many valium, thorazine or alcohol from the description of them.

Yes inebriation is a good way to turn it off.

The anti-psychotic drug families supress psychic experiences, LSD enhances them. A California native should know all of these things. Psychic experiences are enhanced for some reason in desert climates. Been out in the sun too long, I guess....:-\

Let me make it clear I do not seek psychic experiences.

They happen to me.

Mostly as feelings I search out a verbiage that fits like a Geiger counter when I figure it out.

Most often they are probably missed in the felt emotions.

First I have to realize the feelings are not mine but, external pick ups and then try zero in.

Lately, I have found the experiences stronger and so hard as to make me feel emotionally more labile, usually in Autumn but more so with age. In the stress of the economy I avoid crowds and that stressed out feeling.

In health care, my favorite criticism is, too quick to zero in on the diagnosis. Health care is where I can consciously apply it.

I wanted to share this to inquire, any other clairvoyants in the membership?

How do you control unwanted pick-ups? Drugs?

Gotta go watch some Babylon 5 repeats online.

My mother had a certain amount of this ability, and over the past two to three years I've been feeling some very odd things as well. For example, and this isn't a joke, I keep "remembering" the emotional trauma of a miscarriage. Long before that, and to this day, I get very intense feelings when exposed to certain German images, and music. The same from Ashkenazi Jewish culture, music, images. These might be memories of a past life.

About twenty years ago I had repeated dreams of the earth moving into a new position. I could see other planets in the daytime like one can see the moon in daylight on occasion. I also saw a grove of very green, short pine trees, and got the distinct impression that the climate was far warmer.

For whatever thats worth. Thought I would share.
