Something Wicked This Way Comes - Part 6, 7 and 7 alt

Post by curious_guy (imported) »

All of these parts have gotten over 900 hits and I have not received any private messages about them. (If anyone tried to send me an email from the EA, I did not get it. I think there is something wrong with the EA email system.)

I can only conclude that no one liked or disliked them enough to write to me about them. Doesn't anyone have something to say about these story parts? Please give me some feedback here.🙏

Hi!

I have been slow in sending you a Thank You for this story 🙏 <-- (beer included).

I'll admit I liked the alt. ending better... I just couldnt make the flip, mentally, to the sudden rise of the penectomy option. Although you DID go into more detail on the penectomy version. Its nice to have options available; when you go to the trouble of doing a 2nd version, I cannot complain! :) However, its nice to have a 'sure' end to a story.

I think you probably have some good independant ideas which I will enjoy reading, I'm sure.

Again, thanks for the effort!

Join the club. i got one with over 12,000 hits and only 2 e-mails. i have never had a review by anyone down here either. it is not EA, it is the readers. but hey, keep up the good work. some of us always have the courtacy to say thanks when we are done. i cannot say i have read any of yours, but i have seen you have written plenty and therefore are much more of a contributer than i. i just have other interests than you or i would have. keep up the good work!

I'm wondering; perhaps the overwhelming majority of readers are not EA members. That might partially explain the absence of feedback. Any thoughts? --FLO--

From my observations, I believe that the majority of the people who read the stories never read the bulletin boards. Also, most of the people who regularly post have little interest in the stories. With a few exceptions, there are two distinct groups of people on the archive: those who read stories and those who post to the boards. Because of that, authors can expect little feedback on the boards. It's not the fault of the people who post to the boards. It's just the nature of the beast.

Also, there's the possibility that many of the readers might feel a little guilty about reading castration stories and wouldn't respond to the authors of the stories.

and there is yet a third group of us who are mainly here to chat. i occasionally write (but just 5 stories to date counting one series) i often read the messages, but I do not live here. Mostly I chat in the room. i do not know what i would do without this board though. i am surprised at how well this diverse community functions, in light of how the rest of society remains functionally dysfunctional. :)
