Here is the official web site for propecia (finasteride)

http://www.propecia.com/finasteride/pro ... /index.jsp

The effects are listed.

I was on it a long time ago and had no effect that I noticed.

Finasteride/Propecia/Proscar may or may not feminize you. It's not something that will be profound, unless you're hypersensitive. I have taken 5mg Proscar and quartered it, and am taking Finasteride currently 1mg/day in the morning. It's cheaper. I think I noticed more effect from Proscar. And it takes time to notice cumulative effects. Maybe take a pic of yourself at day one and at four months. I think, for one, it may slow down your metabolism. So you might have to exercise more. I noticed that I had slight tenderness and a small amount of breast growth. Also there is conflicting evidence that it might deplete calcium levels in your bones so you might want to take a calcium supplement.

Also, at about four months I realized I could not produce an erection that stood out from my body no matter what. It just elongated some and hung down. You can search some of the forums for Propecia and Proscar and some people have reported all sorts of side effects that they blame on it that some would argue may have existed before the medication. Needless to say, lowering your level of DHT Dihydrotestosterone may produce some of the side effects commonly listed. I felt a bit more tired and at the same time my sex drive wasn't effected, just my ability to get an erection. Almost as if some of the sensitivity was gone. Body wise I did notice a slight rounding of the face and a fuller bum but one could argue that is just weight gain; yet I do believe to some extent the weight gain areas were more in line with that of a female.

I hope you have good luck and depending on what you're looking for, you might want to try one of the more common antiandrogens that I'm sure you've read about here, although I've been too tame to try them. For me, I want a sex drive, I just want a very small and soft penis.
