Perhaps Time Warner in their fight with CBS didn't blank out Washington DC because COMCAST, RCN, VERIZON, and WASHINGTON CABLE are the only four cable providers for Washington DC.
It's a conspiracy.
I would like to see Direct TV that gave TW lip service,
I would like to see Direct TV and other carriers turn off CBS in support. Solidarity.

I don't care.
I want this thread for "Under the Dome."
If you want to discuss cable rate negotiations, start another thread.

Episode 8 -- a sad episode
as the TV blurb says -- a life comes into the dome and another life goes out...
The funniest line in the show was "I'm not going to have sex with you against the dome" and the leering teenage boy that has to answer that remark.
Ah, teen love -- it's a delicate little flower
And I didn't say anything about the tiny dome in the woods. It's so cute and adorable just about 15 inches high. Little tiny thing...

Episode 9.
Too many reveals and twists in the story to say much more than -- WOW!
when the episode is near the end, Barbie is getting into bed with Julie and she asks "how was your day go honey?"
There's a body count -- 5

They showed the tiny dome again in this episode. I think it is at least 22 inches in diameter.

The mini-dome is definitely the source of the larger dome and whatever runs the Dome and why the Dome appeared over Chester's Mills is part and parcel of that secret. That's not a terrible or story-destroying spoiler.
Neither is the fact that The Dome was not caused by the search for the Higgs Boson. Nope, CERN has nothing to do with it.
The first 20 minutes of this episode "THICKER THAN WATER" went without commercials and an amazing amount of plot development compared to the relatively quiet episode of the week before. This was an action episode and not a cry your eyeballs out episode.

Episode 9 - The Fourth Hand
The TV Guide said: Big Jim and BArbie discover that their lives are entwined when a mysterious woman arrives in town.
It seems she was in staying in an unoccupied house since the DOME fell.
Lots of discoveries -- pink stars falling down, pink stars on canvas, pink stars on toast points, guns, rapture, spider webs, nostalgia, propane, a grenade... and a picture.
BTW - I screwed up the episode numbering for posts on episodes 7, 8, and 9 ...
Sorry about that.
And the real spoilerific quote is "Barbie and I know each other"

I thought about this overnight and one day at least 6 months to a year in the future when I won't spoil the first season for anyone, I have a couple observations about the mystery woman.

I finished watching this episode about two hours ago. I think I have figured out who is The Fourth Hand. Does anyone want to know who I think it is?

Not me. I already know too much about the future of Chester's Mills.
