Sherry's castration site says: "Dr. Barham in Oregon charges only $1000 (as of 2003) and requires a therapist letter, while Dr. Kimmel in Philadelphia charges $2000 but requires no therapist letter."

I had approval from a general practitioner and a psychiatrist at that time. Pressure from a daugther and son and lack of funds at the time caused me to abort the plans for the surgery.
I am very interested in learning if I could qualify for surgical castration.
I am in very good health, a nonsmoker, nondrinker. I did have a triple bypass preformed 4 yrs. ago but have recovered with no disabilities.
Could you please quote the cost for a simple castration, plus the cost for a complete penectomy.

Anyone know of a new doctor on the west coast to do elective orchiectomy since dr barham retired?
