Hello Everyone,

I am new to this forum/board. First I want to thank whoever it was that granted me access to join this site. I am 51 now and for many many years wished to get my balls and sack removed. I never went more than the wish as I thought it could never happen in this world. I at the age of 18 grew my hair to my nipples and it was never accepted then and is still not now. I grew up not caring what the hell people think of me or what I do, as most have already judged you anyway. With that said how could I ever think this wish could happen for me. As crazy as is sounds, only a few weeks ago I woke up and had the thought of searching the web for this operation. Wow, to my surprise more info is out there than I ever expected. This site is far the best and I feel the writings here are more muture and real than anywhere else. Ok, with that said, I think I understand that you, Gelding are a surgeon? Even if not I just want to thnk you for your comments and truthfullness towards this operation, the out comes, effects, etc. Thank you for sharing all you have to share. I will continue reading here and again have the hopes of having this done for me. I am self employed in construction, so I would need to plan this between jobs and or with a vacation in mind.

Thank You,

GLENN

Glenn welcome to the EA. You will find a lot of good information here. One thing that is important to learn is the difference between a cutter and a medically trained surgeon. I encourage you to seek out a competent surgeon if you decide to have the surgery. Several folks have written about their personal experiences and the changes following castration. Feel free to start a thread with your own questions and we will all share what knowledge we have.

I am not part of any welcoming committee (not sure there is one) here on EA, but welcome you aboard anyway. I found this web site in January after undergoing emergency surgery in late December 2005, in which I lost one nut. That has awaken a lot of long hidden/repressed feelings. I am about 10 years older than you and live permanently outside of the USA, but am an American citizen. This web site has become my favorite place to read, learn, etc., and find it without exception to be genuine and without judgmental issues. Unfortunately in my short tenure here we have experienced two crashes due to system crackers bringing it down, but the team (I think someone named Talula or Tal is the main person) has been wonderful and getting it up (pardon the pun) and going again.

I face more surgery, probably in a month or so, and may loose my other ball. The upcoming surgery is for sure, the additional "removal" is not (yet) certain. I ponder an elective removal of the scrotum but lean away from it because of my readings about the numerous nerves and blood vessels, etc. (possible complications) of such a procedure. However, I think I would be happier if there was nothing immediately below the penis except air.

My primary reason for responding to your posting is that you are apparently wanting it all done. If you could share more of your desires, concerns and conclusions, it may be of benefit to me (and others?).

Thanks for the welcome. I have wanted this done for over 15 years now. Finding that is now easier to get action I am willing to try for this operation. I can't see any need to remove the balls and not the sack also. Why keep that skin if it can be removed at the same time. I prefer the thought of a smooth feel and look. I have had no need for these parts and after reading 📖 many claiming they feel total peace within, that makes me want it even more. I never wanted kids and I have to think at 51 I won't now. The more I read about different peoples after effects that the penis don't work anymore, I am now considering the removal of that as well. I am not wanting to be a lady, ever, just want to feel better about myself and if I feel more peace it is indeed very worth this removal. I have no use for these things and it is time to act, if I can find a doctor 🙋 for this. I have the money, timing is the only thing, because of my work. I do live alone and have no ladies in my life. I am sure after this operation there will never be any, but I have no problem with that and maybe welcome that as well. I have no problem knowing I will be alone. I will appreciate any comments to my thoughts and or desires, I will not be offended if you speak your mind. I am an upfront and honest person and don't lie. Thanks and have a great day ⛵ everyone.

gelding (imported) wrote: Mon Oct 10, 2005 5:58 am Have no idea. The practice in Miami area is a large one and I don't see the situation changing very much. I'm working to expand the network with which I work. Some doctors do change what they will do depending on the size of the practice, if they relocate and so on. Nothing is guaranteed.

Hello Gelding,

In your avatar I don't know if you have a little penis or if you are penectomized.

Can you answer please?

I visited with a urologist yesterday about doing a elective orchiectomy. He was very up front and honest with me about his willingness to do the procedure. If the person wanting it done is over 40 he said he is more willing to do it.

He also said he needed a legal excuse to remove testicles to protect him from being sued.He said if a patient told him his testicles were painful or had swelling that he would remove them if he was asked.Finding a urologist to do a orchiectomy just takes time and asking. He asked if I wanted my testicles removed.I then told him they already were.I like this guy .I will keep him as my urologist for now as mine retired in january.

I called over the phone to find him first by asking the nurses at each urology clinic to ask if the urologist would do a elective orchiectomy.A bunch said yes but wanted a shrink letter first.

I agree with you, there are Urologists out threr that will do elective castrations. If they require a letter, that doesn't have to be a big deal. If the doctor wants a letter, ask him who he would like you to see. That way it will be from someone he knows and will feel better about it. I got 3 letters for my surgeon and there was nothing to it. It also reenforces your own feeling about being castrated. You don't have to be shy using the phone. They can't put a face to your question.

How much do these urologists typically charge compared to Dr. Kimmel? I have a feeling that Dr. Kimmel charges a premium ($2000) because he has a monopoly in being apparently the only doctor in US/Canada who openly performs elective castrations.

Dr Barham was doing it for 600 to 1000$ till he retired in january.

That was doing it in his office using a local.

It is hard to get a price out of other urologists because most want to do it in a hospital setting.

that will make it 10000$ easy.

I had carpal tunnel surgery done on both hands. It's about a five minute operation, but because it was done in a hospital (day surgery -- went home the same day), the hospital cost was $6773.40, surgeon's cost about another $1500, and the anesthesiologist's another $1000 -- for one hand. All things considering, Kimmel's charge is quite reasonable.
