I used penile injections for a while to make my wife happy. I had the largest and hardest erections of my life, but it was not the same for me. Things had changed. I lost my sexual desire after I was castrated.

There are two main types of penis implants to provide erection for sex penetration.

A semi firm but bendable solid implant the men bend down to simulate a flaccid penis and bend up to simulate an erection. Its stays wherever you bend it as a rigid rod implanted inside the two main erection chambers in the shaft of the penis. These end at the shaft side of the rim of the glans penis head. They do not inflate or deflate. They remain constant in size and rigidity. They are bent into position for penetrating during sex and then bent down over the scrotum for a resting and flaccid look but the same dimensions as when erect.

The second type is a more complicated device with 3 main parts. A resevoir of inflation fluid is hidden inside the abdomin and not visible from outside the body. A second portion is 2 inflatable chambers that are implanted in the same natural erection chambers in men s penis shaft. These inflate and deflate using the fluids in the abdominal resevoir. A third portion is the control device which looks and feels like a third testicle and is mplanted in the scrotum for easy access and use. This device has the valve that controls whether the penis implant is in inflation mode or deflation mode. A valve that is manually turned to erect or deflate settings. This device also has a manual finger squeezed pump that transfers the erection fluid from the abdominal resevoir to the inflatable penis implant rods. The man or his lover pump this testicle sized flexible pump implanted inside his scrotum to move the erection fluids from the resevoir into the penis inflation rods. After sex, the testicle sized component has the release valve control to allow the erection fluids to drain by pressure of the inflation chambers contracting to transfer the fluids back into the abdominal resevoir for reuse in future erections.

My dr showed and explained these for me using website diagrams available online for those interested in these devices.

The penis pump is available to any men with erection problems from any cause such as injury or diabetes or castration.

The big drawback is that installing any penis erection implants requires hollowing out the 2 erection chambers in the penis shaft. Once these are removed and hollowed out, a man can never have any natural erections ever again because these are removed to make space for the inflation device rods inside the penis.

same here after I had mine removed [though due to the nature of mine, it had dropped low before hand], though mostly as I was taking T shots and was trying to find a good balance, took a while but I did settle down [had a lot of help from a good doc and GF].

On the topic as a whole, if your taking T not much will change other than not having testicles to play with

I'm on long-term TRT (coming up on 6 years). Testicles non-functional. "The Boys" are there but dead. My wife finds penetration uncomfortable (scar tissue from hysterectomy), and I have trouble maintaining "full power." When we do it (which is not often), we finish manually. It's wonderful, but we're not 22 anymore.

My only penis in vagina sex in past years has been when I don the "prosthetic devise", otherwise known as a strap-on.
