I believe that God is pure love, and he created us perfect. However, perfect can be a little boring so he gave us free will to do what ever it wanted (people, animals, planets, suns, etc...) Some turned there back on God (for what ever reason) and became dark (evil) others were not quite sure which way they wanted to go and became neutral (can go either way) the rest became Good and excepted Father God. Good and neutral people always go back to heaven. Dark souls get shoved into the next available body. The difference between good and dark souls? Guilt

Before you came down from heaven you planned out your life this includes who your parents will be, your friends, your jobs, accidents etc....Things you did not plan out are how bad the accidents will be, how good or bad your friends will be etc... those are left up to the moment.

Finally to answer your comment River...When you go back up to heaven YOU review your life and not God. You come down to perfect some part of your soul, to live, and to love! When you go back up you review the life you just had so that you can further learn from your mistakes and triumphs. In other words you drafted up a contract with Father God then he signed it and sent you down. Father God will always honor the contract plus Father God has better things to do then re-watch your life all over again think of it He already saw it once!

After reviewing your life you get to hang out and work...yes we have jobs up there...perhaps helping people come down...helping people come back...spirit guide for people down hear (all Good and neutral people have at least one)...your spirit guide is that inner voice inside your soul...at some point you start planning your next life and process repeats...Father God will give you as many lives as you want so that you can obtain what ever level of perfection you wish.

Now for the controversial part

Jesus is not our Savior! Jesus is our brother and was a mission life entity sent down to teach us. Some possible mission life entities...Mother Teressa, Gandhi, Buddha, maybe your next door neighbor, or even you. I think Micheal Jackson was a mission life entity, but not all of them are famous.

Mission Life entities are special people sent by Father and Mother God to help us along...they might be hear to teach us or help us along or further some cause, etc.... the list is limitless.

We have a Father God and he holds us steady in his hand, and we have a Mother God she gets Father God to bend around your contract and get things done for you. The holly ghost is the love they share between them...

Does Father God have to be single? Nope.

River, if you tell one of your children not to touch the stove that is your law, but sooner or later one will touch the stove and burn themselves. Under common Christian way (and a bad parent) of thinking you have no choice but to kick them out of your house and out to the street (think hell). However, a good parent will comfort the child perhaps give them some ice cream and say, "Now you know why I told you not to touch the stove!"

Ahh... We live in a PERMISSIVE SOCIETY...

Sure, you can touch the stove, but let me get my video camera first so we can send it to "AMERICAS FUNNIEST HOME VIDEOS..." and make money with your misfortune.

Or, perhaps we can start a NEW R-E-A-L-I-T-Y series, "the STOVE touchers"

Or, maybe Jon and Kate BURN EIGHT!

George Burns made a GREAT GOD... poor man must be turning over in his grave. So much so if his head was a drill bit he would have drilled a tunnel at least to St. Louis by now...

...but, Sarah Palin as SAVIOR? Ah,,, NO!

Honestly, folks, how can somebody use FOX and NEWS in the same phrase? As English continues to evolve as a language... (OOPS! there is that DIRTY WORD, E-V-O-L-V-E) I predict that the word "news" will become synonymous with "Rhetoric" or perhaps "Propaganda..." just as the work "History" will become assorted versions of "The Brothers Grimm Fairy Tales".

It is a Brave New World. Not quite like Huxley described, but almost as good. Say, next time you see a 52" flat screen TV with a Soap Opera on it think of him, O.K.?

Bitch, bitch , bitch about the expense of Health Care all that you wish, but the only difference between HAVING this health care reform and NOT having the health care reform is that health care will no longer bankrupt the sick, dying and infirm before the government starts financing their healthcare.

This means that the RICH BITCHES will no longer get all of everybody's money before they die. Look for a new round of inheritance taxes on the middle and lower classes.

Meanwhile, chucking caution to the wind and taking to heart as the phrase that Paolo and Krister have so thoughtfully requested of me before, "why don't you tell us how you REALLY feel," let me say this.

I hope that BITCH'S tongue swells up 5 millimeters in cross-sectional diameter with each lie she tells. That way, she will not make it past about 5 sentences without choking and they will have to cut her throat for a tracheostomy so that she can breathe.

Notice I stopped short of wishing her dead? I really don't want her to die, as we are having too much fun denigrating her and the idiots do not really need her as a martyr. You know, something like watching children touch a hot stove. Except children don't know any better. This bitch does, but her kind will ride it for all its worth just to make a buck.

If I had to choose a Martyr for their cause it would have to be Glen Beck.

Really? where is your proof, show your work. Sense I don't believe in heaven, or god it will not be possible for me to go back to some place that does not exist.

Nice try but no cigar.

If that is what you believe, than that's great, I don't have a problem with that, just don't tell me that what I believe is wrong, that's for me to decide. Its a cop out to say GOD has given us free rain to do what we wish, if so who needs him/her. And even more so, why should we worship some one who clearly doesn't give a shit?

Its back to GOD yes that one, was created in MANS image and we saw that it was good, some of us made many copies and gave him/her different names as not to offend anybody.

I am still waiting for the proof. BTW the Bible or other religious books are not proof, there just books written my MAN to control MAN. Now don't get me wrong, I do read the BIBLE, yes that one, KJV. there are a lot of good things in there that help you lead a good life and be a good person. There is also murder, rape, pillage, etc. but if you take it for what its worth, a good book and nothing more, its not a bad read.

For whatever reason, humankind is divine considering

my cat does not know right from wrong. I mean my cat is

a really nice person, as cats go - but my cat does not get it

as far as the canary goes - sort of speak.

Whether a benefit of evolution or the result of eating the apple,

humankind is divine in knowing right from wrong.

In the 21st Century, it is popular to deny wrong exists within the law.

Lying is legal and telling the truth has become a matter of choice.

What better playground for the Devil's work when the divine beings have

evolved to avoid acknowledging, "wrong" in their own lives and others.

I miss the old Catholic model of the Devil on the left shoulder whispering his advice in my left ear, the Angel on my right shoulder whispering God's advice in my right ear and my divinity is in my power of choice.

In the 21st Century that choice has been removed by denying the Devil and becoming unable to recognize his workings.

Bible believers, God, Devil and maybe Jesus. The serpent, the adversary, let's not get into Biblical references to, "the Devil", how can you deny organized spiritual evil, exists - it is part of God's plan.

Spiritualist, your in good company. The founding fathers were, Deist. They believed in some great wazoo but not necessarily Yah-Weh. Aren't there good, bad and neutral ethereal entities out there?

Athiest, believe in only now, molecules, physics, no ethereal or spiritual realm - I believe can have a good strong moral code as to deny the Devil.

It is the believers, Bible and Spiritual, who deny the existence of Evil, that scare me.

It is so, not 21st Century, to express one's divinity, seeing right from wrong.

I was intrigued by Spiderman 3, which I saw courtesy of having kiddies. I had always thought cartoon stuff was cartoon stuff and not worth spending any time on. But, when you have kids you do things for them.

So, anyway, I am watching that. There is this goop that lands from outer space. I do not remember the exact wording, but the idea is that it allows you to become who you would be with no parents, schools, cops, spouses, etc. modifying your behavior. ie. You become your inner self. The real you. And therein started the problems. Spiderman got it on him and for a bit turned into a real asshole. But somehow he had the inner strength to break free. Others without that innner strength would be destroyed (by themselves - their inner self).

Shame I could not understand that when I was younger and knew everything.

I stand corrected, the devil is alive and well, he lives in the hearts and minds of all good Christians.

Its kind of like studying history! As new information is found and/or dug up we can go back and rethink things and come to a new understanding. So I have to ask, Did God really make progress or are we understanding him in a new light as the human species has grown and evolved over time?

For a profound theological treatise on the nature of the the Devil see:

remembering Luke17:21 "behold, the kingdom of God is within you." which would mean that that the kingdom of Satan is also within you.

No one can prove that God exists. However, my experiences in life strongly indicate that there is a God.

I would rather go through life believing in God then disappear into nothingness...then go through life not believing just to find out I was wrong. One way I wont know enough to be disappointed in my belief and the other I will be.
