Interesting use of AI reminds me of a story here.

I have too many horrific memories of my time in the navy when I saw too many "leaders" who were in fact only competent administrators and NO leaders at all, yet they were placed in charge of things only because they were good at shuffling data.
I read and actually liked the AI written story, short and simple as it was, it was interesting. But now, I think, with this tool available to anyone, how LAZY humans will become mentally as they realize they do not need to use any creative efforts to "write a story" or possibly.... paint a picture? care for a child? do anything? I am NOT a "technophobe" or some sort of "Luddite" resisting any and all change, quite the contrary I think that this AI could greatly benefit us, but misused or abused it could end up in some dystopian nightmare (think about the "Dune" sci-fi books by Frank Herbert) where the whole human race becomes enslaved to machines.
On one hand, this could so greatly help so many people who "have a story to tell" yet they lack the eloquence and simple vocabulary to tell that story. On the other hand... the horrific possibilities are there, liars and manipulators could very easily use this AI magic to herd people like sheep, and people have always been much too vulnerable to manipulation. For a moment, just imagine what some misanthropic psychopath like Hitler or Stalin could do with this tool at their disposal. We like to delude ourselves and say "that could never happen again," but Hitler-like personalities are always going to be out there, I believe that all human beings have the capacity to be Hitleresque given the right circumstances.
