My consultant wanted to inject but I went for the gel as it is easier for me to control the amount of T in my body.

I tried the Gel, but I found that the best way to control your T is with the injections.

I have been injecting myself for over 15 years. My urologist helps me adjust it to keep my T level between 150 and 200, so I do not have a sex drive. At that level, with a vibrator and a cock ring, I can get hard enough to keep my wife happy when she wants sex. Sex does nothing for me, but I do what it takes to make her happy. She has been very happy since my castration. She says that I am much calmer and easier to get along with. I also stay home and do not stray. It was the best thing I have ever done.

I am happy that you have found that happy medium.

FWIW, when on TRT, I've never used a gel, just a 1 or 2-weekly injection of T-cypionate. The volume is tiny, and the discomfort so little and gone in a minute or so, and the results predictable and always reproducible. The 10 ml vial costs less than the gel pump too, and lasts longer too?

That's funny. By contrast, I have lingering pain at the site of injection for most of the week after injection. Still, can't beat $5.50 per week.
