Just so you know, as far as Germany is concerned, it is illegal for you to view EA or BME.

That's funny. I never was on Bme and don't know if these two sites are connected in either way but as for this forum I can't see a reason why it's illegal for german citizens to go to this forum - but that's germany - not necessarily a police state but the politicians along with the mostly conservative and overaged voters wanted to restrict/<s>censor</s> the assess to certain sites on the net.
But therefore we have this:

The 6 month date is (I think) a rough guess when you go past the point of no return. It might take more or less time and is one really good reason to talk to a doctor about what you have in mind. At least a few people that I know have started on androgen blockers and taken Estrogen and liked it enough to g opast that without really deciding to transition. The problem (I think) is that like it or not thats what happens.
Think this out really hard before you make that first step. If your truly not transgendered this is kind of crazy stuff to play with.

I'm not really sure if I'm transgendered. If I had the opportunity to switch my gender along with my social environment in one go I think I would go for it.
Anytime I would prefer a female body over a male on although being male has advantages too but unfortunately this would have major consequences to my whole life as our societies are not quite applicable for that matter.
I think I just don't have the guts/patience to go about it.
So I thought it would be an option to take hormones for a few months to just see how the libido reduction and the other effects affect my intentions.
In other words: trading in potency for little breast and a allover-smooth look would be fine for starters.
Another way would be to go to a psychiatrist trying to get definite answers to my 'problem' but I'm sceptical if that would work out for me as intended and I don't want anyone - especially not my parents - to know about this until I have no definite plan.

There are strong privacy rules in Europe. Try this. Make an appointment with a doctor and ask up front. I want to talk to you about some serious issues I have but I need to know if this will remain private? Can you explain what the laws are concerning this?
Now, once your satisfied that your concerns are not going to be shared with ANYONE you can talk about your desire to transition and about your reservations on doing this.
I think a lot of people in your shoes want to "try" this and see how it goes. This is understandable but you want professional advise on how to do it in a safe and effective way. OTC meds rarely have enough of anything to do anything.
If your young transition can be much more effective (and fast) then if you decide to do this later in life. Making up your mind and going forward might be the right thing for you but DO ask for help from the professionals.
I think doing this half way and trying it for 6 months risks screwing you up and leaving you stuck half way. If your really not TS this is not so good (I think) If you are? Why not do this right?

Hi.
A few month's ago I found a company that will deliver to Germany as well:
http://qhi.co.uk. You can't get everything there - but at least Spiro and Progynova. It took 2 weeks until I received my delivery.
Best wishes!

Anyone else can verify this place? Or is it a sham? Site doesn't impress me....

Well this site looks.... interesting.
As for estrogens there is Progynova (link (
http://www.qhi.co.uk/ky.asp?i=Progynova)) as well as Premarin (link (
http://www.qhi.co.uk/ky.asp?i=Premarin)) available.
I've read that Premarin is more potent then Progynova but Progynova is less harmful to the liver. Am I right in my assumptions?
So a trial-dose to start with would be 4-6mg Progynova and 2x100mg Spiro a day?
Do you recommend to take this sublingularly?
@mrt:
The thing is that from all I've heard and read about transgender-care in germany that a doctor would never agree with such a 'deal' simply because he yould be in danger to loose his licence to prescribe such medications withouth a proper diagnose.
So the only alternative would be to go to a shrink. The thing that scares me off there is just that I'm afraid that this may confuse me more that I already am atm.
So I think the least complicated strategy would be to just start on a low dose and get my blood checked before and after a few weeks.
I think when my libido drops about 1 month in or so and I don't like the overall feeling I could simply reduce everyting to zero over a few weeks and everything should go to normal.

Just remember, that effects last at least for some time after stopping. Some say that to go back to normal you need at least the same amount of time, as the time you
spent on antiandrogens.
I can confirm that from personal experience.
So - be careful.

Estrogens (estradiol) have to be gotten with a prescription or else from someone with a prescription who gets it for herself but phytoestrogens can be bought at the vitamin store. They just aren't considered nearly as effective is all.
