A Russian man cut off his own penis after fighting with his girlfriend. The man, named only as Andrey, used a pair of scissors in a drastic measure to ensure he would stay celibate. He said: “After two unsuccessful marriages I decided to vow celibacy. I do not want to communicate with women any more, nor do I want to have any sexual relations with them.” He was found in a pool of blood by neighbours, who called an ambulance. Luckily, doctors were able to reattach his penis successfully.
