Having read the bible myself I am with Ramses on this one, the end times have been the end times my entire life, my fathers life before me and so on. In the 1st century AD the learned people of the cloth knew we were in the end times and like today could point out all the signs to prove there point.

Global warming is caused by Man and by the normal turn of the earth, its has happened before and this too will pass, then in a few thousand years the earth will do it again. God did not cause the problems we face today and today is by far better then what happened between the Start of WWI and the end of WWII.

Revelations is the most unbelievable book of them all, you can read it every twenty years and look at what it is saying or what is going to happen but the names and places will change because the world changes, hell it looks like the person who wrote it was playing a joke on a bunch of people and he succeeded.

Its not a matter of believing or disbelieving the bible. Revelations is out there even for preachers and the like, anybody that says they understand it has been lessening to to much john hagee, now there is a certifiable wacko. I guess religion can be a good thing, unless it is used to force others to believe as you do, then its just another form of torture. There are only two religions that fit this description, Muslims and Christians, not all of either but just enough to cause pain and suffering to millions round the world. Sag your not part of that group but there are those that are and will

do anything to shove there ideas on to the rest of us. Most of them in this country have taken over the right wing of the republican party.

Sorry but God does not send those sort of messages! God is not capable of being angry or any other petty human emotion! The only emotion God has is love! Mother God might help you out...if you ask her! But neither Father or Mother God will ever make things harder for you or mankind.

On the other hand mankind will make things harder for other humans.

No offense, my friend Sag, but the christian sect has been saying the end is near for over 2,000 years... Bad things happen and have always happened. I bet they thought the end was near during 1340,s a bacterium named Yersinia pestis (Bubonic plague) killed up to 3/4 of communities across europe. Our problems now seem almost trivial to that....

Revelations is not about the future of mankind, but the past! 666 is a translation error that has been allowed to continue the number should be 696. If you take the full name of Emperor Nero and translate it into Greek and then translate that into numerology you will get 696!

Revelation was about the Romans and the Jewish people in the time of Emperor Nero, and written by a crazy individual in solitaire on an Island and was written in a way that Rome would not understand the true message.

The reason it is apart of the Bible is because of Emperor Constantine and the Council of Nicea made the decision as to what beliefs they wanted to push forward, and not necessarily what Jesus would have promoted or even wanted to promote.

River I understand Revelations because I learned from Richard Cemeno this man is a servant of God.Yes God will distroy the earth one day and yes some will feel his wrath.Remember the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.I wish I could say this would not happen but that is what the Lord says and it will be so.
