Well Todd Palin might actually like that, and really he might have the right idea. As a Californian I'm not sure we wouldn't be better off if the big one struck and we broke away from the mainland.

My friends, you are all correct.

We are living through the ultimate in greed and corruption and there is no guarantee that we will survive the pillaging and plundering of America. Pirates have infiltrated the formerly GOP Republican Party and they are attacking America from within.

First the government starts a war, and the treasury surplus that Clinton left is siphoned away to George's friends (aka: contractors).

Then George puts the country into debt and continues to send money to his contractor friends. He is so happy that the Pirates got him elected, he will do and say anything.

Then as the economy stalls George puts the country further into debt and gives Americans a tax rebate.........just in time for the oil company pirates to raise gasoline prices so that all of that new debt goes from the government printing office, thru the American consumer, and right into the oil company bank account.

And if that wasn't enough, as part of this grand scheme to plunder and pillage America into oblivion, they manage to get the tax payer to go even further into debt to save private companies. They make the scenario so bad that if the tax payer does not take on the debt of these pre-planned failures the entire country, perhaps the entire world, will really plunge into a catastrophic depression. So there is but no choice except to bail out private industry.

And all the while they try to make us fearful of terrorists who want to invade and harm us.

In reality the terrorists are home grown and they are running America's corporations and are controlling the Republican party. Bush, like the Bush before him, and the Reagan before him, are mere puppets. It is the Republican Party that was infiltrated. Under the guise of the original Republican Party, and through very clever manipulation and lies, the country is being destroyed from inside out.

I don't have much, but I am on the verge of putting it into gold and silver. Paper money, stocks, and bonds are at grave risk right now of becoming extremely devalued because of this country's deep deep debt, and inflation which is right around the corner.

Why inflation? Because that is the only way that the government can reduce the national debt. Once money is worth tomorrow half of what it is today, then the national debt is reduced in half. (it can be a good thing sometimes to be in debt during inflation rather than pay for things up front). Will prices go up on houses? Sure, but their actual true value will be at the same, or less than now, because of inflation.

This is a Ponzi Scheme and shell game on a grand grand scale. Future generations will look back on this and be able to pinpoint the day that Rome fell, and the day that America fell.

Right now the country's balls are being crushed. Complete castration is possible.

This election is not about McCain or Palin or Obama or Biden.

This election is about the survival of the country.

I don't like to reward failure, so I will NOT be voting for any Republicans.

(Besides the war and the economy I disagree with their social policies for the most part too).

What you say is certainly food for thought. Either way most of us get screwed in some way or another at the expense of another. I can't help but to think of "The New World Order" and it reminds me a bit of what David Icke mentions in his writings. Someone is making out well in all of this mess...who? Not me who has seen investment monies vaporize. I am not one for some of these conspiracy thoughts and yet.....

While I understand and sympathize with your feelings about bailing-out the rich-bitches who created this damned mess to begin with -- there is really no choice but to bail-out AIG -- the largest insurer of banks on the planet -- if we do not, the banking system is going to topple like dominoes, all the way down to the little banks -- the ones that hold your checking account and mortgage. That would be en even greater catastrophe than the one we're in. If local banks start failing, people lose faith in banks in general and thereafter, in the currency -- total meltdown.

It is in our own interest to do this bailout -- even if -- and I agree with you on this -- it SUCKS bigtime!

Our money is insured by the feds, they have a printing press, my money is safe, except my 401K of course.

I say let them fail, let them die, it will be the best thing that could happen, the companys that are sound will survive the other will be gone and I don't have a problem with that, it does not hurt me, at least not any more than I am being hurt now. So why should I say save those greedy bastards, plow them under.
