Gods
A well written tale by Pueros; as usual with his stories, it is fraught with history. All ancient history is fiction. We have no idea how much of what we have today might have been altered over the past 2000 years. Who's to say that Pueros's version is not as accurate as any other.

Our Pueros has done it again. Hes taken an ancient historical description and turned it into a fine Christmas story for the Archive. The earliest surviving attribution of the main actors of Pueros story as actual early Egyptian historic personages was in Euhemerus Sacred History, which was written about 300 BCE.
The most famous recent academic, of whom Im aware, to strongly and effectively argue the same explanation was Jane Harrison in her Themis: A Study in the Social Origins of Greek Religion, published in 1912. In 1898 Jane Harrison became the first research fellow (either male or female) at Newnam College (Cambridge) where she also took the post of resident lecturer in classical archeology. She was, during her lifetime widely regarded as the cleverest woman in England.
Our Pueros is in good company with his story, and he has done an outstanding job of turning this academic explanation of the origin of religion into a fine piece of fiction. A number of Harrisons students even pushed the identical implication that Pueros does .
