Funny Cide Gelding
Isn't it interesting that a "gelded" (castrated) horse won the Kentucky Derby. I read that he had an undescended testicle which prompted the owner to castrate him. But the owner also likes geldings and he feels that they run better and are more focused on racing. He's no good as a stud horse, but he's made a ton of money. All gelded men should be proud of his accomplishment.

If only society saw castrated males in the same way that we may not beable to produce offspring but still have a very usful role in society.

Re: Funny Cide Gelding
As a gelding, I certainly see myself as a male that's able to live normally in every other way other than the ability to sire more offspring. I'm perhaps lucky that every one of my friends sees me the same way. Those with whom I don't have an intimate relationship don't usually know. Strangers at social venues where I'm nude never seem to notice or don't comment one way or the other if they do.
Many of my friends respect me for having the balls to be castrated even if they have no desire to have it done themselves. I was castrated 3 years ago and still think it was one of the best decisions I ever made.
We are more than our balls.
