Four years

Post by Sherry (imported) »

Hello everyone,

It was on this day four years ago that Dr. Spector removed my testicles and forever freed me from oppressive testosterone. To answer a question once asked by former president Reagan, I am, and feel, a lot better than four years ago.

This past year in particular has brought major changes in my life toward the better. Not only do I now have the proper estrogen hormones in my body, but I have also replaced my lost head hair, eliminated the facial hair, and changed my legal name to the name Sherry which I have long desired to have both legally and socially.

I am very happy with the course my life has taken during the past four years.:)

Sherry,

You do indeed have a lot to celebrate!

Congratulations on the anniversary of your castration, your name change, adjustment of hormone levels, moving hair from where you DON't want it to where you DO!

WOW! You really DO have reason to celebrate!

You've had a good year and I'm glad... you have earned it. I remember times when you weren't having nearly as good a time of it. I am thrilled that things are going your way now.

Come on, guys and gals, Sherry is one of the good ones! I have known Sherry long before I'd ever heard of the EA! I do not share her TG desires, but I respect her about as much as I respect anyone! Sherry has been through the wringer and has come through it just fine! She is one tough young lady!

Would it hurt y'all to post a little note of kindness to one of the pioneers?

Well done, Sherry, and your website is an inspiration for all of us. You have been a valuable part of the EA, as far as I am concerned.

Thank you everyone for the congratulations and all the kind responses. In the days before my castration, many TSs balked at my idea of getting castrated first thing and not following their exact process, which would have meant fighting testosterone for years longer. I will never forget the open mindedness of the eunuch community when I came to you with my questions concerning the procedure I was about to go through, and occasionally had a few questions during those times which Charlie referred to when I wasn't having a good time of it. I am forever grateful to this community, and wish to always remain in touch with all of you.

Congratulations Sherry!

You and many others here have helped me so much I feel in debted to you all. There is no "exact path" that each of us follows. That is the beauty of everyone here. This community has been, and still remains a place for learning, sharing and support of each other. I have found no better place to be than here. I will continue to try and help others as you have for many already. Your contributions to this site are most helpful to us all. I hope to keep seeing you here for many years to come.

Sherry, May I add my own sincere congratulations to you.

I so agree with what Christina has just written; the road map of our lives is something that is a challenge to huge numbers of people.

Each of us ought to spend time to "follow/find the path that is

not easily always seen".

I can see that you are a beautiful woman and I struggle to find

the words of empathy, determination, courage and dedication -

not to mention pain that you have probably undergone.

Most of us deep thinkers here get some small insight into

your goal and the hurdles you faced.

Well done and very best wishes for much happiness
