Watermelon as high fashion for kids

Post by Dave (imported) »

It seems that China discovered that you can create clothing for children out of watermelons.

You know... Those green round things with red interiors

I can't decide if I'm disturbed by it or charmed by how sugary cute it is...

Gives new meaning to the phrase "you're so cute I could just eat you all up"

Maybe "child abuse" is a local idea.

This is sort of the natural "internet meme" evolution of the fad for "cat breading." (Google it. Basically sticking a slice of bread over your cat's head and posting the picture of the annoyed cat to the net.). The "cat breading" pictures were all over the net a year or so ago. This just substitutes watermelon for bread, and children for cats. And most kids are less annoy-able than most cats.

They are unable to shred annoyer with 18 razor sharp claws in less than a second too :D. Child/melon abuse is safer.

PS. Those pictures reminded me about the photo of cat with helmet made of grapefruit over the head. The kitty was not amused.

Most Chinese L O V E to eat watermelon. It is a favorite food and served often, usually as the conclusion to the meal.

I am guessing that you can find Americans who dress up their kids in strange ways too.

Maybe MORE strange.

That's our assignment.

Find American kids who were dressed by their American parents in an even more strange way.
