S. Califo-nia Needs Rain

Now I thought Mac and Kristoff and River would just have the

cold wet maybe frozen season, and

the mosquito season.

The State Bird of Minnesota is, The Mosquito, I am told.

Snowfall this winter was only half of last year until we got the storm last night. It looks like the biggest storm of the season. That is unusual for February. Wonder if that ground hog in Pennsylvania is really a predictor.

It would be great if we could ship those mosquitos to you.

Having been born and raised in Southern California, I really love the 4 seasons we have here in Wisconsin,

2 weeks or so of spring,

3 months of summer,

2 or so weeks of fall

and 6 months of winter

That is 10 months. What happened to other two months of the year?

I live in the San Gabriel Mountains just south of the national forest. We've had three landslides on our road; the crews are working full time to rebuild the areas.

I know that; I've lived here all my life and know how to drive in the rain and up mountain roads. It is, however, a pain when the police limit access on the road and you have to show every cop standing in the rain your ID to get home.

I know, you would think if you showed it to one the rest would realize it and wave you through, but Cops being what they are have badge suffering from a what ever envy they have feel its there responsibility to be what they do the best, being a pain in the ass.
