I was on 125 mg for 3 weeks and 150 for the last 3 days, so far no unpleasant side effects.

im so happy it does work for you without the bad side effects. keep us informed of your results. 🙏

being 7 days on androcur (the first 3 days on 25 mg/day, then switched to 75 mg/day), the first things im beginning to notice is a slight reduction in my libido, and a mild testicular pain. its a very tiny pain and it doesnt hurt, im a little bit worried about that though.

is this mild pain in testicles normal? anybody experiencing this while on androcur? is it a sign of something happening?

I have noticed the same mild pain in one testicle since taking Siterone. I don't know if it is related to the medication but it is not distracting to the point of my being concerned about it.

You should have next to no effect with androcur at these levels. If you are 22 years of age. You will most likely have a reduce level of testosterone in your body much more. Meaning it will take more androcur to reduce the testosterone levels. Try 100mg a day for a month and see what changes you have. You may very well find that a higher level will be needed.

" Masturbating once a day is very normal. In fact a good number of guys will masturbate far more then once a day at your age. I was doing that in my 50's before chemical castration.

i have no idea how high my testosterone level is compared to other boys at my age. but being on androcur for 10 days i notice a slight reduction in my libido. i masturbated 2 or 3 times since i started the medication. maybe your right that you say its my mind playing game on me. i probably will increase my dose to 100 mg a day. but my only concern is that i take finasteride 5 mg/day as well. and i fear it might do some damage to my liver since im not under doctor supervision.

Let me start by saying that none of use here are doctors therefor anything you decide to do is entirely up to you.

Looking at the data though, the people that had issues with their liver function were men that were taking very high dosage levels and were well into their twilight years. 100mgs per day is unlikely to have detrimental effects at your age unless you have pre existing conditions.

I think from memory I actually started with 100mg for one week (50 in the morning and 50 at night) before dropping to 50/day for a week then settled on 25....for a few months before I added Finasteride....but I was only taking the finasteride for about a week before it just went....well flat.....I doped then to just 1/4 of a tablet for Androcur (17.5 Mg) and 1 mg Finasteride and ...it stayed flat. Although I could and still wanted to masturbate the frequency dropped right now, and ejaculation was completely dry, not even a dribble....and eventually even orgasm stopped feeling good....thats when I started feeling depressed...and interestingly I found myself in MORE need of affection from my wife, I thought it would be the other way around.

You are seeing what most do not understand with reduced male hormones. Much of our love is linked to hormones. What your body is now is far different. Your mind has changed. Depression is all part of reduced hormones. For some it will not last long. Others seem to always be some what depressed always.

This is all part of the side effects that everyone should with lower hormones. Same can be said for people getting castrated for someone else. Straight or gay makes no difference.

This is just what many of us say. You need to try out castration first. Many just can not handle the change you have.

You can check your liver with blood test. I did after about a month of taking androcur and nobody asked me why I want to have this test in the labs.
