Creative Reading

So I was on my way to work yesterday, and had an episode of creative reading... I was passed by a pickup truck with a business logo that said "Capital Carpentry."

However, having read this out of the corner of my eye while simultaneously trying to pay attention to the snowy, slippery road... saw "Genital Carpentry."

I can only imagine the slogan for such a business...

Perhaps... "We'll take good care of your wood!"

or.. "Got wood? Call us, we'll cut it for you!"

Then I had this mental imagine of penii and table saws.... LOL

Very informative post. Now I know the plural of penis.

But, I must offer two cautions: 1) USA construction companies should be laughed at only with care as, I am told, they are often controlled by mob-influenced Genitalian Americans, 2) As to Genital Carpentry, men must be wood cautious as you point out, but women also must be warry of the Mitre BOX saw.

Daughter really has me going now on this "creative reading."

For example: Driving through McDonalds while in the States, I noticed that the current tally is "Over 99 billion SEVERED" when my apparently twisted mind twisted a similar word.

Then there were the holiday songs in the malls after some EA stories appeared twisting the lyrics -- I now hum along to "Your nuts roasting on an open fire" and "Theica's Claws are coming to town" with the new words, hopefully not coming out of my mouth too loud too often. Funny though.

P.S. Thanks to many here for welcoming this new EA member with reputation points with comments. Only one red ding was received so far, and it unfortunately was not helpfully explained by its sender, so thanks especially to the positive senders. Thanks especially to Kristoff too for explaining that red (negative) reputation points are sometimes sent by someone who felt they had sent too much positive (green) previously -- a way to re-balance chaos in the Universe I suppose.
