A holiday poem for freaks of all stripes :)
Posted: Fri Dec 07, 2007 9:20 pm
I hope you all are enjoying the holidays, and congratulations to those of you who have not succumbed to the holiday madness. Keep up the good work
Any way, here is a little poem I wrote and hope to shoot on the 15th and post to YouTube... if I can find a decent DV camera in time since mine recently gave up the ghost
The poem is about Toe-tapping family values right wing conservatives in their natural habitat
Here is my Yahoo group where you can see some pics of one of the set pieces I have been working on

Enjoy!
Tale of the Sugarplum Fairies
by
Jema the Story telling Wolf
Come hither young lads,
come hither indeed
and hear my true tail of hypocritouse deeds
Come Fairies and furries
and freaks of all stripes
all plushies and ponies and leather clad dykes
Gather round for a story
O' yea a tale to be told,
and not to be lived lest it turn your hart cold.
Tis a tale of lust and
a tale of need
Tis also a tale of wealth power and greed...
In the land of beltway
where power is made
Sugarplum fairies do their best to get laid
In airports and train stations
they practice their craft
of picking up paper and petting their laps
Swiping their hands and
tapping their loafers
they are shuttled about by the discreetest of chauffeurs
Wagging their fingers and
shaking their fists
but I've heard tell they can take it well past the wrist
Tapping their toes and
swiping their hands
they legislate morality whilst pleasing their glands
Now, Sugarplum fairies
are fairies indeed
but they hide in the closet out of political need
And of all the fine fairies
the hardest see,
is the Sugarplum fairy who's down on his knees
Though they do their best
to remain out of sight,
they'll make them selves known if you get the code right
( Tappity, tap, tap... tap, tap, tap! )
Oh these Sugarplum fairies
are tricky indeed,
at first they confess and then they re-plead
Doing their best
to spin the sad truth
they blame it all on a priest they knew knew in their youth
Oh yes, sugarplum fairies
are fairies indeed
but they hide in the closet out of political need!
Aw da poor Sugarplum Fairies
all down on their knees...
Tapping their toes and spreading their cheeks
Peeking through doorways
and looking through holes...
with stances so wide you'd swear they were trolls!
Why do they suffer
this unbearable life...
of pretending their straight and taking a wife?
Self loathing homosexual
toe tapping trolls...
Playacting at politics, whilst buttering their rolls.
Oh you poor Sugarplum fairies
its not too late to be queer . . .
Come down to the tavern and we'll buy you a beer!
The End!
Epilog...
"Fuck that! I'm not buying those jerks a beer!"
