WHO IS WELCOME HERE?
There has been some recent discussion via phone, pm, and email, regarding who is welcome here and for which purpose, as well as what is OK to post that is ON TOPIC to this site.
First of all, this is not a closed site. ANYONE may come here. If anyone wishes to gain access to all of the forums to be able to read, they MUST register. They may not post until they have been passed (by me) β I review all new registrations. Anyone may read stories in the Archive at any time.
The Eunuch Archive is a friendly support site for the Eunuch Community, as it says on our front page. This does not mean just people wanting to lose part or all of the package. We cater to:
1.) Those already eunuchs by any means for any reason, such as treatment for Prostate Cancer, Testicular Cancer, Some Other Cancer, Injury, Voluntary castration, those seeking to be castrated for severe orchalgia, or even castration resulting from punishment/treatment for sex offenses.
2.) Those desirous of becoming a voluntary Eunuch for any of their own various reasons, such as libido reduction, BIID, GID, etc. Obviously, a great majority of our membership hangs out in these classesβ¦.
3.) Those engaging in their various fantasies (usually without any desire to follow through) regarding castration.
4.) Those who are transgender / transsexual / GID who wish more information and support in this part of their transition.
5.) Those seeking simple information, to the extent that we can and do provide it, regarding castration. This includes those seeking information because they are facing the prospect for some reason (most often cancer), as well as those seeking information out of simple curiosity, or for a school paper.
6.) Anyone else who wishes to join, participate, observe, study, or otherwise be a friend of this community of eunuchs and their compatriots, as well as anyone I have failed to mentionβ¦..
Not all posts, to be on topic, need to be pro-castration. They can in fact be anti-castration to be on topic. There are those who come here exploring for whatever reason, on topic or not, and stay as a friend, and post a lot or a little. There are those who are involuntarily here, in the sense that they are eunuchs but not by choice. They choose to be a part of this forum because it is a part of what they have evolved to. They can provide input as valuable as the next.
We have members who are avid advocates of castration. There are those who are supportive, but prefer a more cautious approach. There are members who are adamantly opposed to castration without a significant and valid medical reason. We have members who are grudgingly supportive of voluntary castrations, but with significant concerns for caution, and many warnings that other approaches need to be considered.
ALL such members are welcome, and ALL of their posts that are on topic are welcome, whether one agrees with them or not. Those not on topic need to be in an appropriate forum (political, cellar, whatever).
Hopefully, the turgid waters clearβ¦
In the mean time, kindly do not take people to task and berate them bacause their views are opposite yours. I always remember what an old poly-sci professor once told me: Always challenge idiocy, but be kind to the idiot.
