How great it is to read the good wishes of my good friends. Many many thanks.My birthday was a warm bright September day and I saw some good friends and it was good. I know I haven't been contributing for a while. I'm sorry. It is nice to be missed thanks. It's been a bad bad time for me recently with family deaths and all the work involved and the pain following such an event. It was a terrible tragedy for me also when I lost one of dearest cats and most loyal friend and companion who suffered a recurrence of Cancer. She had had major surgery last year and I'd thought that her health was restored but it returned and she was taken by it this Spring. In fact for her benefit she had euthanasia; it was awful, terrible and the loss and grief led to my own health taking a big downturn too. I'm hoping that soon I will see a path forward and through this years personal trauma. That's my update and the reason for my absences here. I just had to call by today and I am cheered very much by your messages and by the personal greeting I got from the Archive too. Folks, I promise I will be looking forwards soon but I am still tied up in the whole situations that occur following family death. It is very hard and your life comes very much to a major full stop for a while.

52 has to be a better age for me than 51. I'm looking forward positively.

I'm so sorry to hear about Molly. I know how important she was for you. The photos you sent were of a beautiful (and clearly very affectionate) pussycat. I know how difficult it is to lose a dear pet. I lost Amos, my cat of nearly 18 years, just a month ago. It was simple old age, but it was still difficult. Give Finnegan a bit of petting from me.

And, losing a family member as well – it must be an extremely difficult time for you.

I'm glad to hear that you are doing better and that your new year is likely to be much better than the last. You are one who certainly deserves the best that life can give. Your caring attitude and kindness toward others has made you a valued member of this community.
