At the MoM there was an open WiFi connection that we were using. We later found out that MoM visitors were the exclusive user of this WiFi known only to us as "linksys". We ended up using the default linksys password to look at the DHCP tables and we could account for every address issued. So the owner was nice enough to provide internet to the MoM without using it on their own. How nice.
Some discussion happened one day with trying to figure out just what the internet facing IP was on that free WiFi.
It took a team of 3-4 eunuchs several minutes to figure it out on a single laptop. Honestly... 1 eunuch could have figured it out . . . you get too many eunuchs working in the kitchen and it spoils the whole thing.
Well, next time this happens we should all remember that the absolute best method to get your public IP address would be to visit MoanMyIP.com (http://www.moanmyip.com/).
That chick is fabulous and is always willing to help out a fellow eunuch.
