I love the perspective you put in your stories, Slammr. Up close and personal. I seem to have heard/read here somewhere that you are, in fact, one of the senior (age-wise) members here; why is it your dialogue and youth-perspective seem so bang on, then!? Ah, skill doesn't explain, it just does...

Always been a kid at heart; never grew up; been around kids. I don't know, maybe all of that or none of it. Age doesn't seem to matter in this regard, though. C van D -- I think -- is older than I am; and his Simon stories are spot on, as people on his side of the pond might say. I think C van D has said that he takes much of what he writes from his own memories of being a kid. I do much the same. My first memories are from before I was two years-old; and I don't just remember what happened; I remember what it felt like to be a kid. I think many adults forget.

This story was supposed to be a quick one day one off, but as many stories do, it quickly took over, growing far beyond my original intentions. I'm on chapter 10, and the kid still has his balls. And the real problem is that his losing them is little more than back story for the real story I had in mind. I originally had him off San Carlos Island in a couple of chapters so the real story could start. Now, it will probably take me another ten chapters to get him off the island.

Anyway, I'm glad you like it; and I hope I'm not boring everyone with it: ten chapters and no castrations. At least, since it takes place on San Carlos Island, there's a lot of nullos around.

If you can't wait for it to be posted here, I'm posting it to my site as I write it. Zack (http://www.slammerstories.net/stories/p ... k/zack.htm). Just keep in mind that what you see there may not have been edited and might change.

What you are finding on the archive are PARTS. In this story series each part contains more than one chapter. Part one on the archive contains chapters one through six and part two contains chapters seven through nine.

You guys are making me feel guilty because I got sidetracked and haven't written any more about Zack for a while. So many things to do: so little time.
