Hi everyone who is reading. Christina and I arrived at the campground around 1:30/2:00 pm. We unloaded the truck and checked out the cabin, it's really cute.

Then we looked for a signal for the cell phone to call Bob and Tom (milwtom3332 on the EA boards) to let them know we got here safely. Bob had his camper all set up, and was out sight seeing with luv and OBB and would be back later. So we called Tom and he had just got to his hotel and said he would be over soon. So, they both got back to the campground about the same time. Tom came in to visit us first and Bob and them went to their camper to check the kitties and all. Then they came down to our cabin. We all sat and talked a while and sat up our laptops and checked out some places to eat dinner. We were gonna go to "PizzaHut" but we couldn't find it, so we found another little pizza place. Was good pizza.

We all came back and Tom went back to his hotel for the night. Bob and them went to their camper for the night, and we went to our cabin. We will meet in the morning sometime when everyone gets up. Sorry no one else could make it.

We will enjoy our time with just the 6 of us anyway.

Well i'm gonna get a shower, and figure which bed I want, ( Bunk Beds )

top or bottom bunk? Maybe the futon bed. We'll see. bfn, will update tomorrow.

Well, The day started out nice, then it got cloudy. Then it cleared up and sun was shinning, Then it looked like a bad storm was on it's way. It never did storm. We did have out steaks on the grill. Christina made her "mac and cheese" again, was a hit with all of us.

So the 6 of us had a nice dinner in our cabin.

(Oh! I almost forgot, the 4 all met my latin from Portugal this morning on cam. They talked to him also, and asked a few questions. That was nice having my best friends meet my true love over their.

) Then the guys went up to rest and Christina did also. They all got back down about 7:30 and Bobbie and them made a fire in the ring, and we roasted marshmellows.

We had a very nice time. It was chilly, but the fire kept us fairly warm. Well we will make breakfast in the morning then pack up our stuff to head out for home. I will make one more post tomorrow. Take Care everyone.
hugss Lilac

Well, we got up and Tom got there about 8:30 am est. Bob and them came down by 8:50 because we said breakfast at 9am. Christina made the bacon and I made the pancakes and eggs. They turned out pretty good, not as good as River's pancakes, but they were add water and shake.

But they were not bad at all. OH! Tom made the coffee, and Bob got to relax for a change. They all said they enjoyed the breakfast, so i'm glad for that. Then we finished packing up as Bob and them went to go pack there things also and get on the road. We stopped up at their camper to say hello to the 3

's. Then a few pic's we took and our

's until next time. Bob, OBB, luvpain, and tome are all great people. If you get a chance to make it to a M.O.M.'s do it, you wont regret one min. of there time.
love always, Lilac

What can I add but another great MoM's meeting! Great people and great food with plenty of conversation. If anyone has the chance to one, you should. You won't be disappointed.
The weather was nice for the most part. A passing shower Saturday evening hardly put a damper on the activities. We set up the grills on the porch and Bobbie brought the steaks. Bobbie, Lilac and I did all the cooking for the evening. I made some homemade mac and cheese and Lilac made a cake for dessert. Both were a hit with the guys. And what's a camping trip without a campfire? Just before dark we made a nice fire and sat around and toasted marshmallows and chatted.
Sunday morning Lilac and I made breakfast. We had pancakes, eggs, bacon and some steak and potatoes left over from Saturday night (although the pancakes were probably not as good as River's famous pancakes). You definitely have to leave your diets at home when you come to one of these meetings.
All in all it was a fabulous weekend. It did seem like it was a short meeting, but I guess that's what happens when you are having a great time.

I'm sorry that I wasn't able to make it to this gathering. I've made it to ones East, West, and middle. They've all been great.
It's wonderful to put faces to the personalities here on the Archive. Without exception, the people have been great. Every gathering has seemed more like a family reunion than anything else I've ever attended. Lots of hugging, conversation, and laughter.
I'm looking forward to the August gathering in Minneapolis and hope that there will be one in the West somewhere before that.
If in doubt, ATTEND! You won't regret it.
