Student Research Question

Hello, I am student in Columbus, Ohio and have decided to research the psychological effects of castration (by whatever definition I receive information). I am also planning to write a paper and submit it to the Concord review about how psychological influences impacted their roles in different civilizations. Would any of you know of anywhere in which I could find resources (the more scholarly the better) about the physiological effects of becoming a eunuch and or castration? Any information or suggestions would be extremely helpful.

Thanks,

Zat

Go the Non-Fiction Forum here and pull up all the posts since the beginning. That should keep you entertained for a while.

Paolo's suggestion of the Non-Fiction board is a good one. There are a number of good articles there to start with - most with full academic citations attached.

I'm on the road right now (actually typing this on Paolo's computer while I'm visiting him). I have a number of good references on my desk at home and will try to post a brief bibliography for you when I get a chance.

There are three articles in press that also address your topic. I'd be willing to discuss some the research findings within them, should you wish.
