Our inimitable C van D has provided us with yet another segment in the sage of Simon, everyone’s favorite boy-eunuch. This piece of his story is entitled Simon and the Paedophile Ring (http://www.eunuch.org/Alpha/S/ea_21503simon_an.htm), wherein our 15 year-old hero discovers that a local doctor is castrating young boys to prepare them for a group of wealthy pedophiles. Simon, and a few of his friends, manage through careful detective work to discover the plot, to scope out the mansion where the boys are taken, and to rescue the boys. It’s a thrilling tale.

Simon resides in a universe parallel to, and only slightly different from, the one that the rest of us inhabit. The routine castration of boys has become commonplace for a number of reasons that are but slight (and mostly logical) extensions of trends that are visible around us. The created world is internally consistent and the plots and writing outstanding. C van D is a fine author, and this is one of his finest tales.

I thoroughly enjoyed this rough draft, and the finished product, and sent my congratulations on another job well done in email. However, I would like to post some public encouragement for the author. There's far too little of that as it is!
