Good News/Bad News

Well, I come before you today with both good news, and bad news. Which would you like to hear first? The bad news? Ok.
The bad news is that the wiki, that new story system we had up for about 48 hours, is dead. It turned out to be a massive resource hog, and during our peak hours would bring everything to a grinding halt, causing more problems along the way.
With help, I did try to configure it to consume fewer resources, but with no luck. So, it has to go. Even as I write this, it is being deleted from our system.
My apologies go out to the users, for this failure. As well, I would specifically like to apologize to Fixet, for not being able to use his magnificent work in loading the stories into the wiki, and to Unmasked, for not being able to display his new logo on the wiki.
We seem to have also inadvertently caused a glitch where, when you read a story a box may pop up asking for a password. This is temporary, please just hit cancel and it will go away.
Now for the good news.
With help from the boffins at BME (Phantazm and 1101001), the old scripts have been jury-rigged to provide minimal functionality, and security.
However, for the moment the submission engine will remain accessable to myself alone. Phantazm is working with me to help build a new submission and approval script that can be made open to the public, but that may take a few weeks, or even a month or two.
In the meantime, stories will be accepted via email at submission@eunuch.org.
I would prefer text files, and please specify an author name if you wish one to be attributed to the story. As well, to make things easier, you can add a summary, and let me know what tags (castration, gay, whatever) you feel should be applied.
All stories currently in the queue will be added, starting in about 12 hours.
You can already see one listed in the new story section. There should be two, however.
One story was already in the queue at the time of the hack. The dating system works off of when it was initially submitted, so it will not show up on the new stories screen. It is called HELL ON EARTH (http://www.eunuch.org/Alpha/H/ea_180423hell_on_.htm) so please, go read this nearly-lost story.
Tomorrow should be a fun day.
