Why do we...

go to the beach in all this heat?
Toasted Yoli here, will someone please butter me?
We returned from our trip to the coastal cabin last night and I'm convinced we were totally wacked for ever exiting it during daylight hours! All of us smell like sunscreen and cooking flesh.
There was a bright note, though.
As we were sitting on the veranda an older gentleman, in really buff shape, strolled by and offered a friendly greeting. Naturally, we invited him "aboard" for a cocktail...Martini, dry.
So soon as he spoke we realized he was an Englishman, and he looked the part of one of the Queen's finest. Tall, tanned, lean, ramrod straight, and the neat mustache. It turns out he WAS a retired British Army "Leftenant" Colonel.
Anyway, we were complaining of the heat and he burst into an old English music hall (see: Vaudeville) song. It cracked us up.
Here it is...scroll down to play.

Hope you liked it.
Barry left for Lubbock this morning, but should be back in late August.
In the meanwhile, I believe you'd find both Ash(leigh) and me quite "a-peeling"!
Hugs, kisses, and discreet gropes.
