Looks like I'm finally starting to make some progress
I have found a therapist who is not too far from me, in the city where I used to live before school. She is said to have worked with many TS people. I set up an appointment with her for a couple of weeks from now.
She's charging me $100/hr, which is a little more than I really should be spending. But it seems like this may be the best I'm going to be able to find, so I'd better take it. And at least I got her there from $120.
I told her I am self-medicating, so we'll see if she can help me find a doctor. But I haven't told her I am castrated, and I wonder how she'll react once she learns that.

Great news! Take each step as it comes. This is an important one, and it should lead to the next important one.

Plix i would think she should be very understanding because thats her job and you need to remember she deales with this everyday and you have just began your jurney. So when you meet her for the first time just let her know how you feel and be honest with her and i know she will do all she can for you.At least thats what i would do and i havent had any problems yet with my therapists so dont worry and just be yourself dear.
God bless you my friend

wonderful to hear it Plix

. All I would say, is don't be afraid to explain exactly how you feel. If it seems comfortable enough, I would recommend telling her you are castrated. It's a clear sign you wern't happy as a male. And I'm sure she'll understand.
When I was younger (15 or 16), my parents forced me to see a psychologist, and the terrible mistake I made was to carefully withhold information I felt was too personal to talk about at the time.
Speaking about your most personal inner thoughts and desires will help her do her job better, and hopefully help you find peace and happiness, whatever the next step happens to be!

Plix,
Let us know how it goes. We'll be interested to hear whatever you're bursting to share after sessions (insights, childhood memories, etc.).

Plix,
Everything I have managed to infer from your posts leads me to the opinion that you are a profoundly admirable person who is rather reluctant to think well of yourself. I think you need to learn to be more charitable toward yourself. Keep in mind that there is a downside to being a saint---saints are extremely difficult to live with, but a sinner can be a truly comfortable life companion.
Best wishes and please keep in touch.
