I am Dave, a 49 year-old non-castrated male. I am considering castration for several reasons. I'd be interested in meeting with eunuchs castrated for reasons other than SRS. Now my question: Are there any castrated men in the Detroit area of environs who have been castrated for reasons other than SRS? I am interested in face-to-face meetings with such men. Dave, Your profile mentions 2 unrelated reasons for seeking to lose your testicles. One is possessing large, painful testicles. What kind o' pain? Have you seen a doc? I can relate to this (pain, not large testicles). Of course, you also mention you have a lot o' sex drive, but no outlet. Do you masturbate frequently?

You could meet a eunuch and not know it. I don't walk around with a sign or other indication that I'm ballless. I'm not in SE MI.

In answer to your questions, I have been in and out of urologists' offices for years now seeking an answer for the pain caused by varicoceles and recurrent bouts of epididymitis. Other than antibiotics and painkilers for both conditions, I am told I have to "just live with it." Not fun!

Yes, I do masturbate alot. It is getting very unfulfilling as I age, (49 now) since I am always alone. It just isn't as satisfying as sex with a partner is. I get out, meet people however just seem to have no luck with getting laid anymore.

You probably should read JeffEunuch's post on the thread Consequences of Castration (http://www.eunuch.org/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=4616). It should help to answer some of your questions. The other posts on that thread are also designed to help someone in your situation.

Keep asking questions here. Don't do anything hasty, but do your research.
