Ian, the Hirja are one of the lowest caste's in India. The caste system is not something you'd be accustomed too. It relegates you to a poor poverty stricken way of life, for the most part. I would guess that there are some "Hirja" who are better off then others, but again, for the most part, you'd be subjected to ridicule, scorn, poverty. Is that what you really want? There are tons of articles on the internet about the Hirja, keep looking, you'll find them.

On the other hand, if you're new to this archive, it would benefit you greatly to read and learn as much as possible about the effects of complete nullification (castration plus penectomy). The Hirja operation is not painfree and not without complication. They more or less tie off your genitals, dope you up, and slice everything off at once, if this excites you, here's the rest of the story. Weeks of healing in a less then sterile environment. Primitive healing methods, a great chance of infection and possible death. So pleasssse, don't rush into it or you may be sorry for the rest of your life. You also didn't say why you wanted to become a Hirja. Do you consider yourself a pre-op transsexual? Let us know so we can direct you. Hash

thanks for the reply , i consider myself pre op, ive been self admin premarin for around 8 months now . It is starting to take its toll as i cant seem to get erect but my inner feeling are so calm.. on the subject of hijra , it would not bother me to be poor and penniless and have been thinking along these lines for a long time. Maybe its the thought of the ritual that i would like and the thought of serviong a master.. ian
