I AM A KITTEN (Dedicated to Andrew)

I am kitten, hear me roar!
See me chase toys on the floor.
I will do just what I want,
Obey you? Hmph; I will not!
Give me some, I will take more.
I am kitten, hear me roar!
I am kitten, hear me roar!
I am tabby to the core.
Though you think I'm really cute,
Wait until you see your boot.
To my food dish I will soar,
I am kitten, hear me roar!
I am kitten, hear me roar!
Little mousies I will gore.
Deep inside my fluffy fur,
There are feelings that occur,
I grew up with claws that tore,
I am kitten, hear me roar!

A kitten's poem:
Little mouses I love to eat
bite off they little heads
crunch they tiny feet

This is great, for all of us who have cats.
Today my cat wanted/demanded to go outside, he's been in the house for several days. Off to the door he went dancing waiting for me to open the door, then to the porch door and danced some more. When I opened the door he looked outside, smelled the air, felt the breeze and decided 27 below was to cold and returned to his basket for a nap, giving me dirty looks the whole way. I think I am in trouble for all that white stuff and the cold and its only January.

Yes Riverwind, you are in big trouble for letting it snow. How dare you let it snow! Heck, I even get in trouble for letting it rain too.
Just don't walk in front of my kitty after you've ticked her off like that, you'll get swatted with a few claws. In fact, don't walk in front of her at any time, she hates that.
If anything interrupts her routine (usually out the front door, around the house, then in through the back porch window), I end up paying dearly for it.

Thank you.
In reality, I have never had a kitten. I have only adopted senior cats:
Tyler at age 17
Pearly at age 15
Conway at age 18
Czarina at age 14
These cats all died within two years of my adopting them (and all 4 died from age-related kidney problems).
My current trio are Max (adopted age 10, now age 12), and the brother/sister pair of Fluffy and Silver, age 9 when adopted about 6 months ago. Hope3fully, they will be around awhile longer. I keep them indoors 24/7

Andrew, that is really nice. Personally, I am a dog person but given a cat/kitten, it would still get all the love and attention I could give it. Right now, I have a hamster and she is spoiled rotten.
