Bboy Update

Just got back from visiting Bboy and while "technically" there are few changes, the changes he has made are good and very encouraging.
He "looks" better meaning his color is what it should be. The docs tried to wean him off the respirator earlier today (because he is fighting it) but couldn't quite get the muster up yet to breath on this own so they are using the respirator as an assist. Later today they will try and wean him off again and this time I am sure he will succeed in breathing. After that they will discontinue the heavy sedation he is currently experiencing (again because he is fighting the respirator yet cannot quite breath on his own). Once the sedation is discontiued I am thinking he should rejoin the world of the living.
However, let us not jump for joy yet. The doctors said 24-48 hours would need to pass before they could really give an informed decision of his condition and while the first 24 hours have been encouraging, we still have another 24 to go before we really know what if any internal organ damage he has experienced.
He is opening his eyes, but behind them you see the sedation. When he wakes he will be in a lot of pain
I will post as I know.
