One day, President Bush visited an elementary school. He asked the students to give a definition of a tragedy.
One young girl said, "If my mom ran over my dog, Rover, that would be a tragedy." The President smiled and said, "No sweetie, that would be an accident."
A little boy said, "if our bus driver hit a tree and we were all killed, that would be a tragedy." Bush shook his head and said, "No son, that would be a great loss."
A small girl in the back, raised her hand. and said, "If you and Laura were in Air Force One when it was hit by a rocket and it was blown to pieces, most people would see that as a tragedy." Bush said, "exellent, you are correct. How did you come up with that answer."
"Well," she said, "It would not be an accident and it sure would not be a great loss."
