Cell Phone / PDA Browsing

This may be of some small interest to some of you who regularly use cell phones or pda's with internet access. There is a small script currently under development at:
http://www.eunuch.org/wap
This script - which despite it's name doesn't output true WAP format pages - does produce a categorized and stripped down output that's fairly easy to browse from an internet enabled cell phone or PDA - something with a small screen and limited memory. I cobbled this together after being on the road without any access other than my phone. While I was able to browse the Archive somewhat, the poor little browser in my cell phone choked on some of the big index files, and navigation was a pain. This is a very early and rudimentry script that basically displays an index of all of the first letters of stories as links, then when that letter is selected displays a list of links to all the stories that begin with that title.
Comments are welcome.
Some ideas for future development are ...
1. true WAP output? (is it needed???)
2. links to newest files
3. break results up into smaller pages (10-20 links per page?)
4. maybe 'todays vBulletin posts' or something of the kind?
Not sure how many of you have ever surfed with a cell phone or other limited browser?
