I Will Do The Best I Can

I put a post in here last night and i said that i wouldent post here anymore do to the criticism the i have recived latley for my bad spelling and gramer.Now it is not that i dont want to post but i am just afraid anymore to put myself in that position infact call it an inferiority comrlex .
I have had trouble with spelling and gramer all my life and yes the dyslexia sure dosent help much eather.But i am very upset at some people who criticize others for any reason and i feel if any post should be baned here it should be this kind of post for thair is NO value in this kind of criticism in the archives.
For the newcomer here we are here to help and support each other here and if the spelling and gramer are not as it should be just rember that every one here didnt have a chance to go to collage and some maby had a hard time just getting through high school.
Rember the archives are not a place to bitch about others falts

Sag, Your spelling is just fine. I have no trouble reading your posts.
And I'm sure no one else does.
People have no place here in the Archives, if they're here to put others down. I'm sure there must be plenty of scholarly forums out there where they can mingle with all those highly educated people with perfect grammer and spelling.
Sag,Don't you listen to that dumb criticism,
We love you Sag, and if you stopped posting it would be a terrible loss.

I didn't get a chance to read what you are talking about yet but, I wouldn't let it bother me. I do know that it hurts at times though. Because it hurts me when someone does that to me or anyone I know. One thing about you that I've learned is, that you are one of the most caring and concerned persons here, and we woulden't want you to leave us at all. You are just the best person I know, and I can't wait for the day to meet you in person. And I know that quite a few people feel the same way. So, as this has happened to you before, just let it float right over your head. Because I know you are that kind of person. My sweet sag, Don't give us up my friend, for we love you alot.

You are a valued member of this community. Your compassion for others shines through everything you post. Please don't take seriously any comments about your spelling or grammar. You are actually doing very well for someone with dyslexia and you should be congratulated for it. I've worked with dyslexics and I'm impressed by what you write.

Surely you do not think for one minute that I would say anything that would hurt you intentionally.
I may have made a comment about doing the best that we can somewhere, but the gist of the thought is that we should not criticize people because that is what they do. They do their best.
All while keeping in mind that sometimes what we read in a post, is not what was meant at all.
With that being said, I am positive that you do not really mean that you are leaving. Please tell me that I am misunderstanding that you are leaving because of some comment that I perhaps have made ... if you are I am so sad and sooo very, very sorry...

I know just what your talking about and feeling, spelling and grammer have always been my worst subject. I too have dyslexia and I move letters all around. I dont have a college degree I am just a working guy just like you.
No body should ever be put down in here for grammer and spelling, It thats why you read the posts is to correct them and the people that wrote them, then go away, this is not the place for you.

Personally, spelling mistakes and incredibly poor grammar drive me batty. But I also understand that there are many people coming here that have had learning issues (IE Dyslexia) or are non-native speakers of English. So I cut people slack... Now if this was an academic forum I might be able to see where some people could get on a high horse about it all.
In the end I find that people who criticize grammar, etc. are usually covering up for some other issue in their lives anyhow. Those who do so in a casual, public forum such as this will tend to miss out on meeting or befriending some great people.
So Sag, please stick around and consider the source of the criticism. I think you'll find that most of it comes from people you wouldn't consider your friend anyhow.

You are definately a valued member. Spelling and grammar are important ... but certainly don't in any way 'out rank' the thoughts and ideas behind the post.

Your spelling and grammar never bothered me. I respect your opinion and that is what matters. Please continue posting and don't worry about the rest of it.
I rarely do a post that is totally correct. I always read them and edit them afterwards. Sometimes, I just leave all the mistakes.
So don't stop, just type on.
And I'm sure no one else does.
