We are not well understood?

There are only some who know of my contentedly castrated state. One asked, casually, last week,
"Tell me. Are you still a eunuch?"
-And we wonder at the.... Do folks understand us at all.... well, never mind!

I'm reading through other website's posts on Bruce Jenner,
and I'm reading other articles and comments on other websites
about various transgendered children both prepubescent and in
their teenage years, and there are reporters and commenters
who have absolutely no clue or no obvious contact with anyone
transgendered in their lives.
The articles and comments reflect a huge lack of knowledge.
