Thanks to all for the birthday wishes! The day was wonderful, including birthday wishes from coworkers. In the evening, husband 'D' treated me to a romantic dinner. Many things have changed for me since my last birthday. I never thought I would ever getting married. In fact, I wasn't sure I wanted to get married. I had quite happily lived alone for 18 years. I am blessed now to have 'D' be a central part of my life.
There have been other changes, too. I'll try to find the time to write about some of these on my transition thread.
