Hi all and first off Merry Christmas to one and all who are missing their baubles.

I've been thinking I may stop using my testim gel, Im not sure what to do yet its just a bit of a pain, i'm on a very low dose anyway. If I stop it what extra drugs will I need I already take calcium vitamin D and B. I love the new calmer me with very little drive but think the full calm may be even better.

If I stop the T will I get real health problems even if I take meds? I'm already more tired and put on a few pounds (14) but i've manged so far and still happy to be a eunuch.

Thanks in advance.

If you're going to stop using the gel, I would suggest upping your daily exercising regime and trying to move to a mostly vegan diet. From your description, it seems that you should be doing more already. There has to be a trade off or you'll risk becoming fat and lazy.

The only things that could help you are nutrition and exercises. Obesity, arthritis and cancer are inflammations, avoid beef meat, dairy products, sugar, flours base products and cereals, all known to be inflammatory, if you have to, eat whole grain bread only. Eat fish, poultries, pork (w/o fat) and eggs with omega3. Only use olive oil, to fry use canola oil. Eat lot of fruits and vegetables, the more colorful the better, colorful means anti oxidant and anti inflammatory. Avoid calcium supplements, first because without physical exercises they'll be useless and they also tend to calcify your arteries, it's better to opt for calcium contained in vegetable such as broccoli and take 1000 ui per day of vitamin D and magnesium 400 mg. Remain physically active, opt for women exercises, cycling and swimming are excellent too.

All the weight has gone on around my stomach where as my arms and legs have thinned. As for exercise I do a bit, i'm a paramedic which helps and when not at work I walk a couple of miles a day or ride my bike, I have every intention HA HA in the new year of doing more exercise but as we all know we all have good intentions don't we.

I have the same problem around my waist. It is a never ending battle. I have found that one must have an effective exercise regime that is a daily priority, without making any excuses why one can skip a day. My biggest problem is keeping to my desired calorie intake now that the cold weather is here, with the holiday meals with family and friends and when one is typically less active during these months of shorter daylight hours, when one has more time to get bored sitting around the house after dark.

This may seem like a silly question but what do you find best sort of exercise I walk and do a bit of cycling, I have problems with both my arms there ok I still work as a paramedic but things like swimming are a bit difficult and cause me pain after a while.

Thanks

At least an hour of vigorous biking daily plus ab roll-outs.
