Q: Did you hear about the fire in North Carolina State's football dorm that destroyed 20 books?

A: The real tragedy was that 15 hadn't been colored yet.

I would take that joke to the University of Alabama.

I know some local kids going there for extended high school and a business degree.

North Carolina, UNC is by Duke University and while not up to California university standards, both are superior to Vanderbilt which I found as over rated as Stanford. Maybe they were something once.

Moi

University of California. Multiple campuses

California State College and University. Multiple campuses.

University of Southern California. Private and remains a great school.

And a "Junior College" system where one may knock off the first 2 years of a 4 year program. The units transfer. Acquire an A.A. degree and some job training at some campuses such as airline jet engine maintenance, the Huntington Beach campus runs a PBS station, etc.

Medical Schools,

U.C. San Diego, Irvine, L.A. , S.F., Davis.

Private - Loma Linda, USC, Stanford

California has something in the neighborhood of 85 different locations for colleges and universities, not counting JR colleges.

Having been a past resident of North Carolina (for 12 years), I can say this comment would be adequately applied to the Durham county DA's office.

I can also say that in business environments, if your degree wasn't from one of the big three universities in NC (Duke, UNC-Chapel Hill, or NC State in Raleigh) you didn't matter. I was always appalled at how clicky the business world was there. It seemed like if you didn't go to one of those schools you couldn't possibly have been educated and your opinions didn't matter, no matter how hard you worked.

I was just staying with the major players.

Sure there are all kinds of little Liberal Arts colleges. University of Redlands for example.

I was going to add a joke about Indiana. However, IEunuch said doing so might incur the wrath of a nun wearing a darth vader suit with bunny ears.
